Reporting live from Helsinki :)(Study hard), party hard! October 15 My school and my "home"Today I really am into this blog :)
Let's finish with some picture of the place where I live and where I go to school.
I live in part of the Helsinki called Pasila. Actually is a Ghetto :) We have a lot of black and muslim people here.
This is the building in which i live. I am on the first floor, I think it is the forth or fifth window from the right.
Inside the building.
Surrounding area.
In this park are bunnies! :) But they are hiding on the picture, they are a bit shy. They have rabbits everywhere here. Probably muslims eat them or something :)) We had snow the other day!!!! I think it cannot be seen good on this picture but my intention was to show you the snow :) And now the school and it's surrounding area. Inside the shool: The Lunch: Sometimes is good, sometimes is bad, sometimes is, well, different :) But most of all is cheap, we pay only 0,90 € for this. The first lunch was called pork caribbean style, the other one is baltic herring in, I think, tomato souce. Herring was really good :) People (enjoying the lunch): Janja & Jernej, Ziga - Half Mexican, Half Slovenian , and the Mexican team Pablo and Daniel. Again some "artistic" photos :): October 14 The Cottages 5.10.2007 - 7.10.2007Some Spannish girls decided that we need a change of scenary and they rented some cottages outside Helsinki. It took us about 30 min to get there with the bus and then another 10 for walking. And there was something to see. We couldn't choose a better weekend to go to the cottages. It was just perfect, the sun was shining, it was warm, nice landscape, forrest full of animals, beautiful lake and best of all, sauna inside the cottage.
Of course we decided to go to the sauna and then jump in the lake. I must say that this is a wonderful expiriance which makes you much stronger :)
I wouldn't loose any words about the parties during the nights, let's just say they were crazy, like always. There were 50 people, well, if we can call Erasmus students people :) I have a feeling that the owners will think twice before renting this place to another group of students ;)
Here are some pictures, others you will be able to find in the picture gallery:
Slovenian dinner - RičetBecause all the nations cooked something already and I ate delicious Hungarian, French, Italian, Russian, Mexican food, I also decided to cook something. I said I will go with traditional Slovenian food called Ričet.
It is somekind of a soup containing barley, carrot, parsley, kohlrabi, onion, beans...
Usually u put some meat inside but I decided to make sausages seperatly.
I cooked this for the first time, so I was a bit scared what will come out. But at the end everything was good, except a bit more salt was needed. Most of the people liked it, Mexican guy suprisingly ate two dishes :) Oh, and all liked Kranjska sausege which was really good I must say.
And now for some pictures from the dinner: The day afterHello people!!!
I am still alive :) I was just too lazy to put something on the blog.
OK, let's start with the day after that crazy party with the hose :)))
